This wonderful piece is a a pattern Mr. Ruple has become famous for.  This specimen commemorates the Bay Area Knife Collectors Association (BAKCA).  It is his artistic version of a gents trapper with amber jigged bone scales. Wow !! This wonderful piece, from the studio of Bill Ruple, also features perfectly satin finished ATS-34 blades, stainless pins, perfect action and intricate filework on the backspacer, liners, and the blade spine itself. I will tell you that the beauty of this wonderful knife is not just skin deep. The craftsmanship on this knife is absolutely exquisite.  As is the fit, blade placement, and finish. The blade tension has just the right feel as well.  We are very fortunate to have work from this maker, due to his low volume production.
